They will be learning some new words without even noticing. They will be engage on the books, they won't even realize they are learning. We will be doing a Battle of the Books competition in addition to reading this books. We will be reading books from the publishers Barco de Vapor. We will have Readathon's in class to promote reading in Spanish. So if they don't understand something they can help each other and I will also be there to guide them. Our School library doesn't have a lot of books in Spanish, and the ones that they have are more instructional rather than a story that will get them engage and turning pages all the time. My students will love to read them all!
