We are a middle school in Loganville Georgia and we are trying to become a STEAM school. With the onset of the pandemic last year and this year, we decided to start a school garden. We are doing it for the students who are in 6-8 grades that align with the standards that we teach. We have started with 2 raised garden beds with help from the local hardware store and we want to expand it so that we can assist students with curriculum and instruction that is most related to STEAM, but most importantly we would like to provide fresh fruits and vegetables for the community.
