In our classroom we have several students who are approaching grade level and we hope that new books will increase their proficiency and fluency by getting and keeping their attention. Each day they come in and grab a book to read for in between subjects or early finisher time, and sadly, at least twice a day a book is brought to me with a missing cover or chunks of pages missing. With new books that are stronger and exciting to read, our kids will continue to grow in their literacy capabilities and confidence as strong readers in our growing community

About my class
