There are many benefits to having headphones for listening center as well as having to display their work. We are lucky to have access to Chromebooks but they need to work and listen without each other's distractions. When your students are listening to stories being read they are developing critical comprehension skills, and it exposes all levels of readers to different genres and stories they may not be able to have at home because of the lack of books. Having to laminate your student's work, make them build trust in themselves and encourage their creativity. I have so many talented students, and I want to give them all a chance to take their creativity to a different level.
