We are a large elementary school in East Oakland. The school is over 98% free or reduced lunch, and the majority of students are English Learners. My school is an environment of supportive and nurturing individuals who create a strong community. I teach 4th grade, and have been at the site for 9 years. There are 30 students in my classroom, who are hard working and excitable for new learning experiences.
