The smart TV will take the place of a white board and chart paper. Instead of the students struggling with vocabulary and concepts due to limited language, they will now be able to watch videos and see pictures to help with background knowledge and vocabulary. I will also use this TV as a monitor to support my students with shared reading and writing. I will be able to model to my students what a exemplar writing piece should look like. The ability will also be with shared writing, as my students and I can write stories together in real time. Another great feature would be that students can all participate in a shared reading while reading books on line.
