This year, our school has been awarded a grant from Disney Musicals in Schools. Through a partnership with Disney and New Jersey Performing Arts Center, our students have been given the opportunity to put on a performance of Disney’s The Jungle Book Kids. This is our 1st year with the Disney Musicals in Schools program. This is a great opportunity for our students to experience a Disney musical first-hand. The students will be involved in dancing, singing, and collaborating with their peers. The students and staff are super excited! However, we are responsible for making all of our own costumes, props, and sets. Unfortunately, our school budget does not provide us with the money needed to purchase these materials. We must purchase our own materials in order to create the costumes, scenery, and props needed to put on our production. With your help, our students will be able to purchase everything (felt, fur fabric, face paint, animal accessories, vines, leaves, and curtains) that is needed to put on this production successfully, without any financial worries. We will be able to make our costumes and designs with the materials provided.
