Teachers at Village Academy MS share our passions with our students by teaching a "Mastery" course. The passion that I want to share with my sixth grade students is Japanese Language and Culture. Learning Japanese in college let me go on an exciting and once in a lifetime study abroad program in Japan. I want to open up this possibility to my students by exposing them to the language and culture while in middle school. The resources my students will need to begin learning Japanese are the "Japanese Composition Notebook" and "My First Hiragana Activity Book." These will help to make it fun to learn written Japanese.
