I added socks to the account because the children do not have any because they are seen as a "luxury." I am hoping to change that so they can be ready for the winter. I included plants so that they can learn to grow them. They have no knowledge of planting and I would like to change that and encourage healthy garden options. I included a class set of books so that students can follow along with James and the Giant Peach. We are also going to a play later on in the year about this novel and I would like them to have the experience of reading it as well.
