These new books will give my students the opportunity to use the classroom library daily. Instead of hiking to the library, students can begin their campout immediately. Putting books in students hands and providing opportunity for growth in reading, is essential for academic development. Having mystery books, such as the Hardy Boys, Cam Jansen, and Encyclopedia Bown will encourage students to use their problem solving skills and develop an interest in reading. By supporting this project, you are supporting students in a diverse school culture, that see reading and learning as an adventure. Reading interesting books develops life long readers and learners.

About my class
