These ChromeBooks will bring to these economically challenged students opportunities that they would otherwise not have...whole class virtual tours, unlimited research to expand knowledge, enhance their writing abilities, higher thinking skills, opportunities to see what dreams they could reach for, prove that the expectations that has been set to them are attainable. So many of these students have been taught to wait on a “check” and it saddens me to think they feel this is their future career. It must somehow stop. These ChromeBooks could bring the inspiration for many to see they can reach for more. They will be providing all day assistance in their learning. They will go with them to their writing/reading class, social studies class, wherever they may travel within that day of the school. As well as use for homework if need, as many students do not have technology at home. I pray they will help give some wind to their wings.
