My fifth grade students are excited about the possibility of having new, flexible seating options in our classroom. They are enthusiastic about being able to choose from a variety of options to do their best work and learning. My students have voiced their opinions about new furniture ideas, and have helped research some of the furniture that was chosen for this project. They want to have balance balls, wobble chairs, stools, and camp chairs in our room and these are the items we are requesting. Eventually the students want to designate areas in our classroom for standing at tall counter spaces or sitting on the floor.
