About my class

Chromebooks make my students shine. At the end of the year, last spring, I began to use a small number of chromebooks in my classroom. I was amazed at what these littles could do. One of the most exciting things I saw, was students blooming. I had one student who was so shy in class she would not talk. I gave her the opportunity to use a chromebook to record a video of her answers. She SHINED. Through this short period of time my students were able to collaborate together on the chromebooks, and share their learning. I know with extra chromebooks my students will excel and it will set them up for success throughout their education. I was excited to start the students on the chromebooks right away this year. They are very excited to use the chromebooks each day. As I learn more and have more ideas for these students, I realize it is a struggle for the students to share the chromebooks. It is taking precious classroom time to transfer between chromebooks. By donating to our project I know with one to one chromebooks availability for my students, they will shine and become technology literate and be able all the things that will make them successful in this 21st century learning environment.
