Since we started Distance Learning in the spring. The kids had some great learning tools on the computer to learn from home. I believe if they have a whiteboard available to interact during zoom meetings, use as scratch paper when working math problems, and a practice sheet while working on an interactive drawing. It would be beneficial. I would like for them to have a book that we can read together during Zoom meetings. I chose a STEM math book that then can be extended into another activity. I want them to have some art supplies at home so they can share their creativity with the class through Zoom meetings or Seesaw. Art is such a wonderful way towards social/emotional health. Math manipulatives will be helpful for the beginning of the year working on addition and subtraction. The magnifying glass is just fun. We can explore the small things in our world. These items will boost ideas for writing.
