These materials will help us to continue our Pennies for Paws project. We will use measurement, marketing, and budgeting skills to create items for our nonprofit organization, Pennies for Paws. Pennies for Paws is dedicated to helping local organizations provide for homeless pets. Our mission is to raise awareness and support for animal shelters and rescue organizations in our area. So far, we have started a fundraiser, written a book, and created several art pieces to reach our goal. Next, we would like to use these materials to create products to sell at our exhibition later this year. We will be using the Cricut easy press to transfer custom vinyl designs onto t-shirts, tumblers, snow globes, ornaments, tote bags, and whatever else we can design! All our products will have a 'paws' theme so that we can educate the community. The proceeds from selling our products will be donated to a local rescue organization with whom we are partnering. This project will help us integrate math, economics, English language arts, and art skills into one meaningful project!
