Flexible seating allowed my students to choose where they are more comfortable working at. This motivates and engages them in any activity, creating a great work environment and nice, cooperative, focused students. I can assure you it works. I have some pillows that a retired teacher donate to my class plus some I bought, and they love them! Sadly, it is not enough and they are very old. If, as adults, we find hard to stay for a whole day sitting in hard chairs, how can we request that to young students? Being able to move around the class gives them also, a mental break and helps them be ready for the next activity.
