My students will be able to experience visiting an aquarium for the first time! They will be able to see what we've been learning in science in the real world! They will be seeing the adaptations we have learned about in science. The aquarium has a variety of sea creatures that my students otherwise would not be able to see in person. They will also be able to learn about the different types of environments that different species live in. The Austin Aquarium has many hands on activities for the students as well. These activities are grade-level specific and incorporate what we have learned in the classroom.
