As a public charter school, my students in Math 1 are required to take the state End of Course test. The state test has both an inactive and calculator active section. We are a growing school and unfortunately have needs that our budget can't meet this year. My desire is that every student in my class has a calculator in hand. With your generous assistance, I will be able to provide the three students in my largest class to individually use a calculator rather than trying to share. I love when students use 'out of the box' thinking in their thoughts. Individual calculators will encourage that diverse thinking that we so desire.
