Our students need a visit from STEMTaught to experience the magic and excitement that the curriculum brings to learning science through hands-on labs. The publishers will present the text and each class with labs through meaningful STEMPlay with clear learning and teaching objectives aligned to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and Common Core requirements. Students will engage in labs that demonstrate the Scientific Method, explore chemical reactions, construct a model scale of the solar system through coding programs, experiment with forces of gravity, investigate items from tide pools, create an El Nino test tube to show it affects the biosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere and engineer rockets, etc. Teachers will be provided with the resources to continue to support student learning of science through STEM with all materials provided at a one-to-one classroom student ratio. This experience will make a dramatic difference in the lives of over 250 students by providing them an opportunity to learn about science and the world around them.
