These flexible seating options will enhance my students ability to learn. My students will be able to use these seats during independent reading time and small group centers. These are key instructional minutes when students should be comfortable and motivated. Flexible seating has been proven to enhance student learning, by providing a comfortable and motivating seating option. Students will use stability disks to wobble and wiggle while reading. The resistance bands provide physical movement for students feet at their chairs. Sit spots provide and independent carpet space for students. These seats will give my students the extra motivation they need to overcome their reading difficulties.
