Right now our classroom does not have all of the areas of learning set in place. Most of the materials are put away in cabinets because of the lack of shelves to display them. The classroom areas should be set up to accommodate, facilitate, and challenge the children’s thinking. The children should be able to have access to materials in the classroom so that they can explore and gain a better understanding of how things work, how to make choices, and how to cooperate with others around them to solve problems. These classroom furnishing can help me build the classroom environment that is conducive to learning and that meets the needs of each of the students in my classroom.
