We read books. We read the room. We read words on the word wall. We stamp words with ink. We use crayons and markers. And we would love to have iPads in our room to add to our reading centers. These two iPads will add so many new ways to learn. The apps we would like to use will allow us to hear the words, trace the words, record the words, and to put it all together to learn to read. Today's children learn differently from the children of the past, I would like to meet them in the middle to bring their iPad world into the classroom to show them how this tool can be used to teach them to learn. Through this, I hope that they will use the apps that are introduced in school, at home.
