I will use the printer to print pictures (i.e. Picture Exchange Communication System PECS) in colors. Some of my students are nonverbal, and the color helps them to recognize desired objects (e.g. red apple). I will also print short children stories written by one of my colleagues to introduce them to literacy. The books are specifically written for preschoolers and typically come with visuals at the end of the story. The IPad will be used as an assistive technology device for my students who are ready to produce longer utterances. I am also planning on downloading educational apps so they can learn why having fun.
