In our second grade classrooms we use classroom money. Students can earn money when they are following directions and especially when they are being kind. We are always modeling and encouraging positive behavior. We continue to motivate our students by creating a school store that they can purchase items from with the money they earn in class. Students are also going to be "paid" for completing their classroom jobs. I am asking for items to put in my classroom store that will keep my students motivated to earn money. My 2nd graders love the Glow in the Dark Slime, lip balm, Pokemon, Bendy Pencils, Bouncy Balls, Squishys Toys, Monkey Stringy Balls, notebooks, and LEGOs included on my list! I want to teach my students that they can be rewarded for doing the right thing, while also teaching my students how to manage and count money accurately.
