In my classroom, students are eager for extra help therefore I would like to hold Math Mornings. These will be held every Friday morning at 7:30am which is an hour before students are expected to be in school. In these math mornings, students will be working individually, in small cooperative groups and with me, their math teacher, to help improve their math skills through real-world applications, project-based learning and student discussions. My goal is to help provide my students with a foundation of deep mathematical knowledge. This initiative will help to give my low socioeconomic students a fighting chance in the mathematical world. To put this project together, I will need YOUR help! Because I am asking my students to come in so early, I would like to provide them with a healthy nutritious breakfast which will become very expensive over time. I am asking that you donate money to help feed my students to ensure that they have enough energy to work at their maximum potential! Thank you in advance for your consideration! My students and I are grateful for the support and opportunity.
