I am trying to start a collection of standing desks for my classroom. I have many students who struggle when it comes to focusing during class. As soon as they sit down, their brain wants to check out. All they need is a way to stay in motion. If their bodies are in motion, then their brains are better able to focus on classwork. Standing desks, especially the selected desks with the swinging foot stand, allow students to constantly be in motion. Most importantly, the desks allow them to be in motion without distracting any other students in the classroom.
