All of the requested materials are to assist student literacy in reading comprehension! Most items are needed on a daily bases and others are items that will help students achieve higher expectations in reading and writing beyond an 8th grade level. My classroom is a high engaging/cooperative learning class where grouping students from various backgrounds and learning abilities work together to analyze stories, texts, and poetry. They need paper, pens, post-its, posters, and markers to complete literacy strategies. Additionally, due to high absentee rates, a student printer is needed to copy or print typed work/assignments. Please show my students they DO matter!
