These flexible seating options will give my Kindergarten students a variety of seating options to help maintain focus! The students will increase productivity by being more comfortable in the classroom! I have used standing desks for the past several years. They have been very productive in increasing student focus and productivity, but it’s now time to try something new. Several teachers in my primary building have used flexible seating and have seen success with it. I’d like to give my students the opportunity to make good choices as to what kind of seating would be best for their own growth. I have chosen wobble chairs and balance ball seats as an option to my standing desks so that students can bounce and wobble while maintaining focus on the task at hand. The comfy beanbags will also provide a seated option to the standing desks for students. Having a variety of seating options will allow the students to best choose what will help them maintain focus and do their best work.
