As a school initiative, my 6th Grade teaching team is piloting a 1:1 technology program this year. Thanks to a grant written by my team of teachers, we were awarded the opportunity for every student on our team to have access to an HP Chromebook to take home and use throughout the school year. Our curricula this year will be heavily dependent on online resources, and I am sure our students will benefit greatly! However, many of my students have some trouble utilizing the touchpads of the tools effectively. They would be able to use their online resources much more effectively if they had an attachable mouse to use for their Chromebooks. We are hoping to provide this resource to our students to help their fluency using technology and to support the 1:1 Chromebook initiative as an effective learning tool.
