Students in my classroom will be using several learning programs that require headphones. Having these headphones will make a world of a difference in my student's learning! They will be able to have more opportunities to practice on their own, use engaging materials, and work at their own pace and level of proficiency. Here are a few examples of the programs that we use: 1. Exact Path is an application that helps students to practice Reading, Language Arts and Math. It offers short lesson videos geared towards each individual student's ability, and let them practice those concepts thought exercises. 2. Spelling City is an application that helps students with spelling. This application helps students with sounds and writing patters. Students need to be able to listen to the words in order to learn and spell them. 3. Nearpod is an application where I create engaging lessons to help them learn and practice French. I often include videos and audio clips that students need to respond to. If each student has their own set of headphones, they will not be distracted by what the person sitting next to them is listening to and will be able to be more focused on their own work. Please help us get headphones!
