The Strength-In-Diversity Project empowers students to accept that each person individually and culturally contributes to the success of the group. This technology-based project allows students to express their academic strengths as they apply new learning. Electronic presentations may be developed in a variety of platforms and students will have the option of choice. The students will highlight cultural characteristics that add strength to today's society through classroom presentations.
Laptop presentations help student learn how tolerence of diversity is imperative to peacefully coexist now and in the future world. The Strength-In-Diversity Project provides a pathway to master that "tolerence is when we respect, accept, and appreciate the rich diversity of our world's cultures, our forms of expression and ways of being human" (Huffpost, 2015). This project will also foster communicating their own feelings and beliefs about tolerence and diversity. Students will be able to practice new knowledge, open communication and freedom of thought. Each person needs to feel valued and respected when sharing their own ideas, thoughts and dreams. Please help my students get the essential technology tools needed to create a project that emphasizes the importance of individual differences of all.
