Flexible seating will allow my students to choose a space in the room that will work best for their style of learning. Currently my students are using a variety of places to do their independent work. They sit under tables with clipboards, they use our class carpet, or just simply sitting at another table. Making sure my students are comfortable is essential to ensuring they are doing their best work. Flexible seating will allow my students to focus, most importantly. They are still at the age where sitting in a hard chair is just not something they can do for long periods of time. By donating to our project, you will allow my students to collaborate, communicate, and interact in a fun and safe environment! My students are noticeably more engaged and willing to learn when they get to choose where they sit, and are comfortable where they are at. The products that I have chosen will give them many different options to maximize their learning experience! The yoga balls will be used as seating at their desks, as well as the stools. The yoga mats will be used as options for comfy floor work, such as our reading time!
