In our 1st grade classroom we meet the variety of students needs through "Learning Rotations." In our "Learning Rotations" students have a chance to use electronic devices to participate in our literacy and mathematics programs designed for individual students needs. These kid friendly headphones will benefit my students by allowing them to participate in our math and literacy learning programs and to get the most out of them as they can. The few headphones that we have right now in our classroom are made for older students. These headphones tend to slip right off of my 1st-grade students heads/ears while they are trying to use the devices. I am constantly having to fix the few headphones that we do have because they either don't fit my students, or they aren't working properly. Because of this, my students cannot hear properly out of these headphones. We are spending the majority of our "Learning Rotations" trying to fix the headphones so that they are working and fitting properly. This leads to not getting the most out of this valuable learning time. With these new headphones my students will be able to use their learning programs with ease and will not have to worry about if their old headphones will be working or not.
