The tablets will serve multiple purposes. Three of the tablets will be utilized by the students during both math and literacy centers. The students will be able to start building their own portfolios by photographing their finished work, and uploading it to their Classdojo portfolios. This will give the students a sense of pride and ownership over their goals and accomplishments during centers work, and allow them to share their work with the teacher and their parents. The Tablets will also help me as a teacher better assess the progress of students, by allowing me to review all of their recorded work; also, this will enable me to evaluate the efficacy of a center. The 4th tablet will be utilized for a listening center as well as for reward times. The play-dough, while not technology based, is much needed and will help both math and literacy centers as well. The rest of the materials will allow me to build interactive centers for my students. I'm a new teacher at this school, so we are in of some of the basics to build a great foundation for my students.
