As of now, our classroom does not have a safe and comfortable place for my students to enjoy a good book. The rug would provide a comfortable space for the kids to explore our classroom library. The beanbag chairs would give the students a place to sit while reading, or even somewhere to relax if they are having a rough time. The cart would allow us to transport the books if we were to decide to enjoy reading somewhere else on campus. Teaching a special education class with students that range from mild to moderate needs has its challenges, but so far providing my kids with a place where they can relax and read has been the hardest. I hope that with these supplies, I will be able to help my students grow academically and further their love of reading!
