The students in my class will use these tablets to access apps to enrich and develop stronger skills in Language Arts and Reading. With these tablets, the students will be able to engage in educational websites and games specifically created for ELL students. My students live in a community that is low-income/high-poverty. These tablets will provide students with the tools they need to increase their knowledge in literacy and reading through the implementation of technology. These tablets will allow the classroom to have its own technology section providing more interactive lessons and less dependency. Through your generous donations, students can research, watch videos, and bring the subject matter alive. It will also create a more productive learning environment, and allow students the opportunity to have access to high tech equipment that will contribute to their success.
