My students must keep up with the latest technology in education to spark an interest in reading. Technology is changing every single day, and so are the interest of my students. Students in my classroom are ELLs. My school technology center doesn't have the updated technology, so I would like to have some tablets that will hold their interests not only in reading but also in math and all other subjects in my classroom. Ell students often struggle to read in their native language as well as the English language, through technology they will enjoy reading, math and all other subjects. Students who use technology to read will find that reading is fun and begin to read more for enjoyment! Helping students learn to read through technology is a perfect way to build better readers. Technology is a great way to improve reading and math skills for reluctant students. My students will love getting their hands-on some tablets.
