Books give students the opportunity to enter the world of different characters without leaving the classroom. Reading can be fun when students are interested and invested in the books that they are reading. The books that I have selected in this project will provide my students with the opportunity to engage in reading series of books that they are interested in. These books will be added to our class library and be used daily. The series in this project, including The Harry Potter series, have been highly requested by my students. Being able to provide my students with these books will encourage them to read more, as well as, prompt more book discussions among friends.
