My students are seventh graders from a high poverty area in Tennessee. My students are very inquisitive and passionate about science. They are also very lively and energetic and love to be out of their seat doing activities. This is my seventh year teaching and it is my goal to make sure they get the best educational experience that can be provided with what I have. I want to do more to reach my tactile learners and help my students not only to learn the content, but to give them a genuine experience. Using the hands on materials I have requested I believe that I can reach all my learners on a deeper level and fuel their natural inquisitive side.
