I work in an urban school that serves over 1200 middle school students. We are a non accredited school with over 70% of our students receiving free/reduced lunch. 82% of out students are minority. Crittenden is a Math, Science, and Technology Magnet which helps to bring many opportunities to our students in those fields of study. My current goals as a Reading Specialist at this school is to expand our resources in the literacy department to include text that are engaging students as well as various level of text so that all students can build a love for literacy.

About my class
