These materials will help me create an area in my room to encourage reading and a place where they can become engaged and comfortable in their reading. The bean bags will be a place where they can settle in with reading and by using the whisper phones they can hear themselves read. My students like to feel special and by having these materials they will be eager to learn and ready to read independently. The stools are a great seating arrangement for my small reading groups that I will work with to improve their reading. The microphone will help them gain confidence in speaking and reading to a group.
