I would love to be able to receive an Apple iPad to use for my distance learning lessons. There are so many apps available that I would be able to utilize to enhance my teaching daily. I would be able to use the iPad to connect with my students virtually. One example of how I would be able to use the Apple Pencil in my lessons is to be able to draw right on the iPad screen, where my students can see my examples in real time. Being able to embrace new technology in my classroom will help my students be more interested during this not-so-typical way of learning, and make my lessons much more exciting. All of the options that I would be able to work with by using an iPad would make my lessons more engaging. Once we are back in the classroom, I would still be able to utilize an iPad by having the students use it during small groups or literature circles.
