I want to have two iPads in my classroom that are used only for word work during my Daily 5. This is a time where students are working independently as readers and writers. My class has the opportunity to use a learning device called Osmo during this time but iPads are rotated through each room. We have 4 kindergarten classrooms. Bringing in the iPads allows me to have students use the Osmo daily without having to find or borrow them from another class. Using the Osmo allows students to build words and practice letter recognition to help them become successful readers and writers.
