The robotics club was started as a form of enrichment for the students at our school. The club takes place during a "homeroom" period, and is designed to give the students some much needed fun during the school day. The students in the robotics club are 6th-8th graders from our public school in California. There is a pretty even mix of boys and girls with all levels of previous computer experience. Some of the students do not have access to computers at home, and for many this club is the first time they have ever used a computer at school.
