Hands-on learning is a favorite way for the students to learn new skills and reinforce prior knowledge. The iPads would be a valuable technology tool for teaching coding. The tablets would offer the students the the opportunity to learn basic coding of squares and rectangles to advanced coding sequences of mazes. The look on a student's face when they are successful is priceless. The iPads would give them the opportunity to learn coding which at the same time improves math and language arts skills. In addition, along with that comes learning to work with partners, tenacity, and ultimately the feeling of success.

About my class
