The students in my Title I second grade class are the same as any students in any school. They are intelligent, creative, energetic, and enthusiastic learners. One big difference is that they don't have the same opportunities. But that doesn't stop them! With only a few older tablets to share and less time to take advantage of them, my students still produce great work. Adding just a couple more tablets would give my students the chance to spend considerable more time on iStation perfecting their text fluency and comprehension skills. They could take advantage of NearPod for more exciting and interactive learning experiences and utilize great apps like SeeSaw so they can show off their wonderful work with their families. The possibilities are endless! On behalf of my little geniuses, I thank you for your generous consideration.
