Our charter school is fortunate to have a class sets of iPads that I can share with two other classrooms. Unfortunately we do not have any headphones. This means we cannot properly facilitate our online subscriptions because we cannot turn the volume up loud, and many of the students who read on a lower level refuse to listen to the books because other students can hear what they are listening to, and know that they are lower level books. We have three desktop computers but it is just impossible to rotate 27 students through those in a class setting. Having these headphones will solve all these issues! My students will be able to listen to books on their individual reading level, and will be able to complete the online intervention materials that will assist them in becoming better and more fluent readers.
