It is true that the 2020-2021 school year has and will be unlike any other. Students are learning in school and at home, which has never been done before. Students are expected to increase their independence in ways they've never done before. The generous donation of Fire tablets will ensure my students have access to technology to give them the independence needed to prepare them for 21st Century learning. With the use of the tablets, students will be able to independently use learning applications. These applications can help students improve their phonemic awareness, a crucial skill for reading. Students will be able to play engaging mathematics games to improve their skills while having fun! Additionally, students will be able to access digital libraries to engage with text at their just right reading levels and beyond. These tablets would be an invaluable asset to our learning.
