I've requested the graphic novels because they are great for reluctant readers. The most expensive items on my list are the printer and ink, but they are really the most important items. My school has a copier, but the students are not allowed to use it. Most of my students have laptops, but occasionally they may need to print things. I have a couple in each class who don't always have a laptop, so I end up having to guess on how many paper copies of the lesson materials I need to make. If I over-guess, I waste paper. If I under-guess, I end up with not enough materials. I can't just go to the teachers' lounge to make copies in the middle of class, so usually I end up over-estimating what I need and wasting paper. The teachers' lounge copier does not print in color, either. I am also the Yearbook sponsor and it would really benefit my students if we could print things in color, like the flyers they designed to advertise the Yearbook. The rug serves two purposes. I have a projector cart and the cord stretches across part of the floor, causing a tripping hazard. This rug would cover that up. It also would also some flexible seating (students could sit on the floor). The SD card reader is for Yearbook. Their school laptops do not have SD card readers built-in, which is a problem when transferring photos from the cameras. The storage bins are for their class folders, to help keep things more organized.
