The materials I have selected will help my students have a choice when budgeting for and creating a marble run with a turn, a tunnel and be free standing. The craft sticks and straws might be chosen as supports for their marble runs. The pipe cleaners, wire and card stock will be used to possibly make turns or tunnels. The composition books are necessary for them in using the engineering process to plan and draw as well as reflect about their plans and improvements once the project is completed. The masking tape is an integral material used to keep their projects together.
